Happy 5 month birthday!!

Ok it's not his birthday yet, not until Tuesday. We got him this exersaucer and put it together last night. He liked it! The seat spins around so he can play with whatever toy he chooses. It will also help him learn balance and strengthen his leg muscles. His feet don't reach the floor yet, but we put a pillow under him so he could practice standing.

what to do...

We have a certificate to get some new furniture, but I'm not sure what we're going to get yet. We are thinking of this but with these tables. If Bob likes those tables, that is. If we decide not to get that then we will probably get this. We still haven't gotten our new mattress...still waiting on a call to say it's ready. I can't wait to have a queeeeen size bed!! Speaking of furniture we want, when we get the dining room ready we want this, even though it's from the competition.

It's snowing today and it's really cold! I'm hoping it keeps snowing and sticking so I don't have to go to work. Then again if it is still snowing by 3 or so then I will probably not go to work even if they are open. Who knows how bad it'll be by 9 when I'm scheduled to be off. Besides who in their right mind shops for furniture in the snow?!?!?

We were discussing getting our taxes done when I was at work yesterday and one of the people I work with says she gets a refund of more than she paid in. How do you do that?!?!? We got a pretty decent refund but not more than we paid in.

Speaking of odd things - I was watching Medium last night even though I KNOW I shouldn't because it's scary and I'm a wimp. Anyway, part of the story was about this kid who had a doll that talked to him. Later in the show we find out that the doll told him to kill his father...but before it was his doll it belonged to his aunt who also killed her father because the doll told her to. That's not the odd part though...The kid's name was Oliver...the doll's name was Maggie...the aunt's name was Sarah Jane. That might not seem odd, but my son is Oliver, I'm Maggie, and my sister is Sarah Jane. CREEPY!!!

Hooooooray!

Bob was in the RTG wood repair contest this weekend and he came in 3rd! Great job, Bob! The prize for third place was a RTG competition shirt, a trophy, and a $1000 gift certificate for RTG. Before the contest though, there was some serious problems. It all started with his flight getting cancelled on Friday. He was put onto another flight that was going to go to Detroit, then to TX but he was bumped off that flight! So then they put him on another flight that went to Charlotte and then FIRST CLASS to Dallas. When he got there no one knew where his suitcase was! In fact, he went all weekend without it. He didn't get it back until Sunday around 5 when we were both home lounging about and talking about how our weekends were. Silly airlines.
My weekend was good too. Oliver and I went to Asheville to visit. He got to meet his great grandparents (my dad's mom and dad) and great aunt Sandy, Aunt Jain, and Uncle Mike. Also, my cousins Benjamin, Andrew, and Courtney. Friday night we hung out at the G'parents and had a merry old time. Although, Oliver decided to scream for about an hour while we were there...I don't think he felt very well and it had been a long day. Poor little guy. Then we went back to Aunt Rachael's house (my sister) and hung out with her and Uncle Dave for a while before going to bed. Saturday was spent lounging about and then shopping for a few hours. Then we went back to Rachaels and had tacos for dinner. YUM! Oliver's gramma and grampa (my mom and dale) were there, as well as Aunt Sarah (my sister) and Oliver's cousin Delilah. He had lots of fun, and gramma even read him a book! The adults played Apples to Apples, a very fun game! After a while everyone left and Rachael and I stayed up and played Guess Where? and In a Pickle. both were very fun. We finally went to bed and had to get up early Sunday to get out on our way. Dave and Rachael were off to church and Oliver and I had to get back to pick up Daddy from the airport. Dave made delicious pancakes and eggs and bacon for breakfast so we left with a full tummy! We made it to the airport just in time, and went to Applebee's for lunch where we had HORRIBLE service AGAIN! Then we went home and took a nap. AAAAAAAH! it's good to be home. Here are some pictures...
