Wyatt's appointment
Wyatt had his 9 month checkup on Wednesday. He really did super! He's 18 pounds 14.5 ounces (25%), 28.5 inches (50%) and 18 inch head (50%). Of course with all the crawling and climbing and cruising and standing the doctor was pretty happy this his development. She did say he needs to learn to use a cup. I'm hoping she meant a sippy cup because what a mess it'd be without a lid! It was a quick appointment because they were backed up so that's really all there is to tell. He got one shot, the last of one of the Hepatitis's. He did ok with that but he made the horrible cry face - the one where there's no sound and he's not breathing. I can't stand that at all!!!! We went out for smoothies (Juice Shop) to make him feel better. I think it helped because pretty soon he was smiling and playing like normal.
Since then he's started clapping (yeah, I guess that's something babies do a lot earlier but it's not something we really do). He also got his top right tooth yesterday. So now he has two bottoms and two tops! The doc said it looks like his molars might be coming in. I can't say I'm suprised the way the boy chews on stuff but I thought they came in front to back. It'll be a little funny if he has a big gap between his front and back teeth.
