Finally!

Ok so it didn't take that long, but Oliver got his first cloth diaper today. It's a bumgenius 2.0. It fits him really well, and it's on the smallest setting. It says it will fit him until he's 35 pounds! There are little snaps right below the velcro, so when he gets bigger you just move it up to the next set of snaps to make it bigger. We like it so far, although we haven't tested out the absorbancy yet. I wanted to wait until Bob is home so he can see it too. Teh second picture is to show that it isn't any bulkier than a disposable diaper. In fact, it might even be a bit more trim. I really like it so far so we'll see how it goes when he actually uses it.

 

Not very chatty...

I'm not feeling very chatty, I just wanted to say that we tried the rice cereal with Oliver and he liked it the first day, but has hated it ever since. He ate it up on Monday when we tried it. We tried it again yesterday and today and all he wanted to do was spit it out! I guess he needs more practice with the spoon.
Also, I didn't win the lottery. I thought I was going to but it was sevenTEEN, not seven...drat!!

Oliver's 4 month appt

He's 25.5 inches long, 16 lbs, 15.5 oz. His head is 17 inches. He's healthy and apparently ready to start solids! Tomorrow we'll try some rice cereal. He got 4 shots again, poor thing. He took it better than last time though, and he's only slept a few hours since then. He doesn't seem to be getting a fever this time either.
