Oliver puzzle

Oliver opened the first present of the day and it was....a Spiderman puzzle!!!

He spent about 30 or 45 minutes putting it together and then taking it apart and then putting it together again!!

Side note, these are the jammies that Nanny and Pappy gave Oliver. He LOVES the penguins!!

Wyatt likes the tree, too.

Even though he's constantly trying to pull ornaments off he loves looking at it. He can be very gentle after he's reminded about a hundred times.

I had to include this last picture because this is his new improved glee face. It looks a little more natural than the original and, from far away, more like a smile.

How excited is Oliver to have a tree??

THIS EXCITED!!!
We got the tree yesterday and decorated it last night. The boys had fun picking out the ornaments and putting them on the tree. Every one Oliver picked it was - "This ornament is me when I was a penguin" "This ornament was me when I was a snowman"
TA DA! The finished tree...and some Oliver belly.

The Rocket...

Oliver made this rocket out of some of the things in the art and craft kit that Uncle Digits and Anni sent him for Christmas. He absolutely LOVES making things and was thrilled about the giant glue stick! He made this rocket the first day he had it and has been playing with it like crazy ever since.

small update

Wyatt has three new teeth. In the order they came in - bottom left canine, bottom left molor, top left canine. The top right canine is about to come through, too.

Wyatt says truck and star.

Wyatt is a banana fiend! He would eat them all day long if he could. Yesterday we were at Arby's eating lunch and he kept saying and signing banana. Ack! Eat your roast beef, child!

funny things that were said today...

Oliver "I have long legs that go all the way down to my feet!"

Me "Wheeeere's Wyatt?!"
Wyatt, popping out from behind a chair "There he is!"

Oliver "I'm going to make spaghetti for everyone on our planet."

Oliver "You scurby dog!" (yes, scurby...not scurvy)

in other news...

Oliver helped me set the table for dinner. He put a plate and fork at each place. He was really a very good helper all day!

Wyatt finally got his tooth in two days ago. It ended up being two, actually. The bottom left canine and molar. No wonder the poor guy was so miserable!

I couldn't resist...

Doesn't he look like a little man? Check out his muscles!!

more fun with pillows

It amazes me that the boys will still spend an hour playing with these pillows. Oliver builds lots of space shuttles, Wyatt just piles them up and jumps on them.

Wyatt's dr appt

Wyatt had a dr's appointment on Thursday. He is 22 pounds and they didn't say how long. He's in the 75-90th percentile for length though! Still only the 25th for weight. He's growing like crazy! He still hasn't gotten that bottom molar but it's all swollen and ready to pop any minute now. He's ahead for speech and right on schedule for everything else.
