The rain was falling harder now. Daniel pulled his coat tighter around him as he hurried along the empty street. Finally, he reached the small, brown building that was his destination and quickly opened the door to go inside. A small bell jingled as the door closed behind him.He stood a moment, letting his eyes grow accustomed to the dim light in the room. The familiar smell of the musty old books reached his nostrils.
