Things I have learned...

The last 5 days since Oliver was born have been a whirlwind of new experiences. Here are a few things I have learned...

1. Having a baby is hard work, but I can handle it
2. Babies poop A LOT
3. It's hard not to talk baby talk to someone so tiny
4. I'm not afraid of babies anymore
5. You really DO have a "motherly instinct"
6. It's hard not to cry when you think your something is wrong with your baby
7. You can miss someone, even if he's just down the hall or in the next room
8. It's hard to put down a baby, they're so snuggly!
9. breast pumps make you feel like a cow
10. I can wake up without an alarm, even if I've only slept for an hour or so

Thank you for visiting my site and congrats on your baby boy :)

All those you've listed are so true, but just wait to see how much #5 will surprise you over time.

Your entire world changes with a new tiny being and it is the most wonderful gift ever.
